Seriously, the Grand Canyon is amazing. I think the only two words that can sum this place up is "holy shit." I took a lot of pictures of it (like around 200) and I'm trying to edit them down but... yeah.
Pretty sure that's the Colorado River.
If you look a little off center to the right, you can see the smoke from the forest fire that was burning on the north rim.
We decided to go to the North Rim on one of our days in AZ and holy crap. It was only 11 miles away from where we were but it was like a 4 hour drive and these cliffs (the Vermillion Cliffs, I think?) made it worth all that time in the car. They were fucking beautiful omg.

Angel's Window... you guys, I am not good with heights. So people would get all close to the rim of the canyon and I was always wondering how they were not shitting their pants, especially when they started climbing or sitting on the rim or what have you because I would get within like 10 feet of the rim and start having a goddamn panic attack, even when there was a railing. But I climbed out on that sucker and took some pictures and it was fun, even though my heart was beating at about a gajillion beats per minute.
