As I'm sure most Bruins fans have heard by now, Scott Walker's wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer during the Eastern Conference Semifinals. He found out while the Bruins were playing the Hurricanes. He may have found out just prior to Game 5. I can't even begin to imagine where his head was, but I'm sure it was all over the place. :( That explains a lot. Man, he must not have been thinking at all. How could he? Cancer can go fuck itself. I hate cancer. I am so glad she's going to make a full recovery. :)

It really does explain a lot. I can't imagine the pain he must have been in. I think people that are like, "Yeah that sucks, but I still hate him" lack a lot of perspective. I love hockey just as much as the next person, but sometimes you need to draw the line.
