it depends.
if i'm driving, it's "bossy" by kelis feat. too short.
if not, it's mirah's cover of "dancing in the dark".
2. Did nine-year old Helene have any expectations about nineteen year old Helene's life?
she thought i'd be at an elite music conservatory as a vocal performance major (with a minor in DJing?).
and i'm sure she never thought i'd be so broke all the time.
3. Earliest childhood memory?
late evening on a beach in the philippines. i'm in a bathing suit and the sand beneath my feet is damp. the sun is setting, which makes the sky look pink and purple and yellow. the sound of waves and my mother's voice.
4. The last time that you were so excited about the next day, that you couldn't get to sleep that night.
that happens every time i know i'm going on a trip.
5. Last wishes?
that my mother lives a full and happy life,
and to finally know why there are three La Pasadita's on the same block.
