Okay, the mysterious Eskimo Spy comments whenever I'm on duty might have been funnier during the snow. I still really don't get the joke.

nikki heat: eskimo spy

Playing music seems to cover them up. I'm running out of songs, though.

I'll have to give that a try.

They make up their own words and sing along when I forget the lyrics. I gotta admit, if nothing else they're creative.

Sometimes creativity crosses a line into obnoxious, however, and this is getting dangerously close.

Hey, that's not fair. We do what we can with what we have, you know, but it's kind of hard to press charges against the undead, forces of nature, and giant man-eating arthropods.

No wild theories?

None as yet. Heck, I don't know if this is Sphere weirdness or someone's just really, really bored.

Sometimes I wonder if there's really any significant differentiation, to be honest.

I got called that, too. Well, not the spy part. But I guess it's better than whoever they were referring to as the "Fish-Lipped Guy."

Fish-Lipped Guy? That's an unfortunate nickname to acquire.

I've never even been to the arctic, though... And I'm a cop, not a spy. This makes no sense.

What is an Eskimo Spy?

Reply

dont_leave_town January 7 2011, 09:00:43 UTC
A spy from an Inuit settlement, I would have to assume. Though why Eskimos would need spies, I'm not certain.

Inuit is a country? Or a people group? Most places need spies to stay informed.
