I had one of those "You know your family is a bunch of hermits when..." moments.
So my quartet was playing at this RRISD teachers' awards thing this evening when your mom came up and introduced herself to Yong Cho as his friend's mom. So she talked to Yong, and then complimented our quartet, and all the while she didn't seem to recognize me at all... Which I realize makes perfect sense as I am usually gone, and when I am home I am not out in the neighborhood much.. and it's not like my parents socialize much, but I recognized your mom because she's always gardening when I drive up. I was thinking about saying something like "I've lived across the street from you for almost 3 years," but I thought it might be a little weird and she was leaving then anyway.
Anyway, yeah. School sucks, which is why I have basically given up on it at this point. Horray for apathy!
lol, actaully, my mom doesnt remember anybody. ive been dating david for a year and 3 months and she still doesnt know his parents names. Its quite embarressing. So dont feel bad that she didnt recognize you. She even gets my name wrong some times.
