I know what you mean! I completely agree with you, and yes, it made me cry too.
"Amnesia was her name" (the first track with vocals on Viewmonster) makes me cry, also. The thought of knowing you fell in love, but completely forgot everything about it is so sad. I think I understand what this song meant to him, but the commentary just says, "This is a song about an amnesia patient who fell in love with his doctor." Mm-hmm, sure.
