The hurricane...it hurt my parents' house pretty bad. 35 trees down....7 on the roof. The roof damage surprisingly was not that bad. Other than that, I survived. I hope everyone else did too...

So the other night I go to Java Werks to meet up with Sarah D., Sara Jo, and Caitlin. Just as I am entering, I see a table of people that I am just sure is them. They are playing Scrabble. I am horribly upset. Our cat must have been attacked Monday night, because after we let him out that night, we haven't seen him again. Contrary to popular belief, cats that are habituated to their environment do not runaway, nor do they get lost. They are either killed, stolen, or hit by a car.
