I don't know whether this has been mentioned before, but Carolyn and I went to Berlin this weekend, firstly, because The Killers were playing there, and secondly because it's been ages since either of us had been. Ah, yeah, there was this really cool bar on Schiffbauerdamm, on the Spree, called the Bier Boerse. Boerse is the German word for "stock exchange" and the great thing about this place is the beer prices fluctuate according to demand. They have about 15 beers on draught and it was within easy staggering distance of our hotel. Top drawer, Brian.
