[When Ace had asked him to help with this, he hadn't expected it to be put to use quite so soon. The first two sentences have him up, carrying his communicator and looking for Marco. He knows what this message means immediately, but.

Those words are so sad, as well. Someone like Ace, who had nothing to go home to, would cause a lot of people sadness. As much as Japan could think that Ace would find some peace this way, he wasn't sure if he could comfort anyone else with the fact. And in the end, it was still this sad.

But he was pretty decent with holding back extreme emotional reactions for the sake of others. Luffy and Marco were going to need someone...
