[A wild Vivi appeared! And she's clearly confused, since she happened to appear on the very same roof. She tries the door marked "roof access" first, but it's jammed. Stupid rusty hinges! She goes to the edge to look down, but jumping is CLEARLY not an option. So...]

How am I supposed to get down from here?!

{OH SHI-A FAMILIAR FACE THAT ISN'T CRACKED OUT!} Vivi?

{He'd just sit up and watch the blue haired princess pace back and forth a moment before finally standing up and brushing himself off. He set his hat on his head and shoved his hands in his pockets to go stand by her.}

The doors jammed huh? There might be a fire escape?

[She scowls at the door, and then at the rest of the roof. It's definitely not Alabasta at all.]

A what? More importantly, I'm a little confused. This doesn't look like any place I've seen in the Grand Line!

{He scratches his head sheepishly, he didn't mean to scare you princess.}

Sorry to say it Princess but you're not on the Grand Line anymore.

[She shakes her head. Honestly, right now, she's just happy to see someone she knows, especially since the Grand Line disappeared, and Carue isn't even with her.]

That's what I was afraid of... Ace-san, what's going on? Where are we?

{Well he was glad to give her some familiarity. He was also glad she seemed fairly normal.}

Just Ace is fine Princess being called -san makes me feel old.

{He chuckled some, trying to lighten the mood.}

Ah, well... this is Discedo. A city full of people from other worlds.

Then just Vivi is fine, Ace.

[Despite the strangeness of the day thus far, she smiles a little. And she looks very interested at the explanation.]

Other worlds...beyond the Grand Line, you mean? That sounds incredible!

{He nodded with a grin, moving to crouch on the edge of the roof, arms draped over his knees.}

Yep, looks that way. I wish we could leave to go see them! Some of them sound pretty amazing.

Leave...we can't leave?

[Her expression wilts at that, and she glances past the rooftop at the city. It certainly looks foreign, but being trapped there seems unsettling even for her.]

Then we're trapped... What about Luffy-san and the others...are they here?

{He followed her gaze, frowning a little when her expression dropped.}

Yeah.

Zoro, Sanji, Usopp and Chopper are here. Luffy was at one point but he went home somehow. The scientists choose who gets to stay and who gets to go.

[She nods, listening to the names, but...]

Luffy-san's not here...and Nami-san either?! But that's...!

[Alright, now these guys have split up the Straw Hats. AW HELL NO.]

That's cruel! What sort of leaders are these people?

{He turns his gaze away and rubs the back of his neck. Oh yeah, these scientists frustrated him too.}

The kind that'll turn us against our friends and take away what makes us strong.

It sounds like a horrible place. And we're trapped here...by the people in charge? There's really no way to leave?

Yeah. Though they don't really do anything but cause trouble.

No. Not that I know of. We're going to try and sail across the lake to see what's out there but unless they send you home we're stuck.
