Telling Ryuichi that he'd meet up with him right away had been one thing; getting back to the hotel in Center City had been another one completely

Ryuichi was also easily distracted. Which was probably why Kumagoro came equipped with a tracking device just so that K could find the singer when something shiny dragged him off. Right now, the shiny thing was a machine. And not just any old slot machine, oh, no. This one had a lot of bells and whistles and everything else and wasn't the usual slots. Ryuichi wasn't certain what it was or even how to win, but that's okay. The lights were still shiny.
But after wasting his last quarter, Ryuichi had to move from the shiny machine and go wander elsewhere. Maybe that's why he heard his name being called. Or maybe it was someone else's name? Oh well, being on the smallish side, Ryuichi wiggled through the people, babbling away in a mixture of Japanese and English until he got free of the crowds and was able to wave his rabbit in the air.
Tamaki whirled on the spot at the shout, for finding friends was Serious Business and he didn't want to miss Ryuichi in the crowd. He weaved about the people, afraid for a moment that he'd lost the man in the crowd. Afraid became panic, and just when he was sure he'd been mistaken a pink bunny being waved about.
Crisis averted, for now at least. Tamaki rushed over and grinned, waving ecstatically.
Two bouncing steps and Ryuichi was giving his new friend a giant hug, laughing and chattering excitedly. It was a good thing that K was not about otherwise the poor young man would have been searched for anything dangerous. Not that Ryuichi would get hurt, or no, K was just a suspicious American.
"It's nice to see you, na no da!" The singer chimed in and let go. He held out the bunny for Tamaki's viewing pleasure, adding, "Say hi to Kumagoro!"
At least he wasn't like other rock stars with the stuck up attitude and ten million bodyguards.
Ever the over emotional young man that he was, Tamaki returned the greeting with a hug of his own before backing off a step and joining in the laughter. People around might be staring, wondering who the loud guys jumping around were, but Tamaki paid no attention.
When presented with the bea-er, bunny? Tamaki reached out and patted it on the head. "Nice to meet you, Kumagoro!" He laughed again, shaking his head at the energy brimming from Ryuichi. Had he really been panicked?
"I was afraid I wouldn't find you for a bit." He admitted, looking about. "This place really is too big." His servants had wanted to go with, but Tamaki was sure he could get there on his own. And he HAD...luckily.
