Rumor has it that Heath Ledger will be The Joker in the sequal to Batman Begins. I'm not sure if this is more or less credible than the rumor that Jake Gyllenhaal will be playing Harvey Dent

So far, I haven't seen anything to credit this more than they've shopped the role to him. Of course, they just finished The Prestige, so they don't have an entirely finished script or much of anything.

Jake Gyllenhaal I can SLIGHTLY see as Harvey Dent. But Heath Ledger as the Joker? Yarghhh, that's much worse than when I heard they were favouring Paul Bettany over Crispin Glover.
