Ha! This sounds . . . spectacularly awesome! Makes me wish I could have been there (I'm having to suppress my envy-impulse, which I'm told can be rather off-putting) . . . and a shame about Horatio, that he couldn't play along; your enthusiasm clearly deserved it!
"on the talk of the poisoning!?!?!!?!? " . . . JOVE yes Hamlet SHOULD be hyped in that scene! (glad to know you can be as loud in real life as you are virtually :P)
Eeee. Your energy reminds me of my own strength of obsession, which gives me hope to resurrect it. I think I'll go enact my favorite Shakespearean characters tomorrow. preferably in public ;). (Still hoping Cassius might give me a call and pick a fight while I'm waiting in line at the grocery store or some such . . . )
[sigh] I know a group of people who would adore you where I went to school. It really is too bad you're virtual and not, you know, in my "real life".
pardon . . . I am riding a sugar-high a little too far into the night--er, morning.
Well... I suppose now you know a bit of how I feel hearing about your + fog's theatrical exploits! :P
Am I loud online? How is that even possible? XD (I would find a way, wouldn't I?) I'm not entirely loud though - I suppose I'm like that girl in the nursery rhyme - when I'm quiet I'm very very quiet, and when I'm loud I'm EARSPLITTING. I think what was more offensive than that line, though, was "OHHH good Horatio!!!"
Oh gosh, that sounds like so much fun... I would love to actually witness one of your fights, or anything, in person... but unfortunately, like you said, we are separated by several states/timezones/databases/years. :( Oh well. (Out of curiosity: is that your theater group?)
Oh no XD *handflap* Those are the best highs to ride!
Haha, no, but seriously, this may sound a little corny, but that was a wonderful comment to receive. I just need to remember to hold out until college, when I will actually be able to do things that are INTERESTING... So, thank you. :)
Ah, yes, I suppose it is rather my turn in that respect ;P.
I don't know . . . I think it has something to do with caps-lock, exclamation points, frequency and enthusiasm of posts, a certain loud-sounding syntax. Though I can imagine how, in person, it makes sense that you would be alternately very loud and very quiet. I'm rather like that myself . . . often I don't have anything to say because whatever is going on in my head is much more interesting than whatever everyone around me is prating on about, but when I get excited about something I tend to start using my stage-voice (as opposed to what certain adults would call my "indoor voice").
Yes, it is my theater group. And, btw, I think I actually am in your time-zone now (was it west-coast time?)
I'm glad to have given it to you, then, and do encourage you by all means to hold out --- better things to come, persevere! --- and all that.
What goes around, and all that. XD Out of curiosity - when did you start acting?
Ha! Yeah, that sounds about right - although the "frequency and enthusiasm" bit is probably just a product of me not really having any other outlet for my frequent (nerdy-pursuits-related) enthusiasm. ;P I know what you mean about voice - I am trying to teach one of my quieter friends the difference between people who say intelligent things quietly and infrequently, and people who say a lot of nothing very loudly. (That wasn't really related at all, was it? Damn, this is why I shouldn't try to write things at 1:45 AM. I'm afraid I've been saying a lot of stupid things at people.) But yes, stage-voice - often when I'm in some kind of discussion, and I get passionate about a point I'm making, I start emoting it - for example, today, we were discussing a speech of the Ghost's in Hamlet, and I started feeling as though Gertrude had personally betrayed me. And I started feeling very strongly about this, while trying to explain the imagery of sex and paradise/

AWESOMELY AWESOME. :D Congrats on getting Act fucking III! You sound like you had an absolute ball! Maybe your enthusiasm will encourage the others to up their game a bit next time. That's what a Shakespeare class should be like! I am grinning just reading this, I tell you! :D
Fingers crossed! In a couple weeks there's an optional reading of Twelfth Night at a park, so... hopefully only the more enthused people will come to that. I'll be sure to annoy you all by talking about it in great detail, of course XD
