It's a two-week thing, we study things like movement and stage combat in the morning, and in the afternoon we do rehearsals for a play. :D

...half of it sounds like they're making out. Seriously. I think this reading may be the best ever.

Seriously. I imagine basically everything up to "Come Antony" and after "cast into my teeth" as their faces being basically an inch apart.

And I love Brutus' aggravated little sigh right after "revenge yourselves alone on Cassius". It's so... I don't know. Affectionate. XD

I'm listening through it right now, they're totally locking lips between "Do you confess so much?" and "Give me your hand".

I really want this guy to read Hamlet. He would make Hamlet/Horatio canon. He could do it with his MAGICAL VOICE OF SLASH.

And at the end, when Brutus is bidding everyone goodnight and he gets all romantic with Cassius - and then Messala and Titinius are still there. This is my imagination:

Messala: Um, guys...
Titinius: Really...

Brutus&Cassius are snogging

Messala shrugs, sighs

Messala: ...GET A ROOM!

Brutus pulls away a little. Cassius grumbles

Cassius: This is a room. It's not our fault you're in it!

That's totally a kiss after "Everything is well". XD

XDD

Brutus: psst, why don't you back, for... you know, appearance's sake... I'll send Varro and Claudius to go get you later. Foursome sound good?

(Of course, the flip side of all this is that the Brutus-Lucius exchange is SO CREEPY...)

Lol, I meant to type "why don't you go back" [ie, to your tent]. Yay, I'm seeing innuendo everywhere!

Brutus/Lucius can't be anything but creepy *shudder*

I really need to get ahold of some movie versions of J.C. and rank their slashy goodness...

My, that was... intimate. XD I think the slashiest bit (for me) was the wee exchange from "Noble... noble Cassius..." So much breathy whispering; you can totally imagine them moving in for a kiss before Messala and Titinius are all "Good night - we're getting the hell out of here!"

Also, wtf accent was the poet supposed to have? At first I thought it was supposed to be Welsh, but then I wasn't so sure any more...

Hope you're having fun at Shakespeare camp! It sounds great! :D

What, you didn't like the faces-an-inch-apart-whispering in the fight scene? :P

Hahaha, yes. XD Reminds me of 79, where Brutus and Cassius are being all lovey and Messala and Titinius are just in the doorway like "Uhh..."

"Loohv, an be frriends!" Scottish was my guess, but you probably know better than I (being actually somewhat near the area).

It's pretty epic so far, yeah. I learned some stage combat yesterday. XD

No, I don't like it. I love it. XD *listens again* Now, can we get a movie or a stage production that does this, plzthx?

I just love how quickly Messala and Titinius say goodnight - they can't get out of there fast enough! I think every production just needs to have them hovering awkwardly in the background! :D

Actually, I'm Scottish myself. :D I dunno... I keep listening to him, going, "What the hell? Is it trying to be Welsh? Geordie? Where are you from?"

Wow, that sounds awesome! You'll have to let us know how it all goes. /jealousy. Who are you playing?

Movie, PLZTHX, Powers That Be, so we can watch it again and again... XD

OR NOT. ;)

Oh god, there goes my guess. I have no idea, then. XD

I am playing the Very Important, Instrumental, and Extremely Crucial to the Plot... *drumroll please* LADY MACDUFF. XD

Well, you know me, I still prefer an out and out argument over . . . er . . . intense breathy whisperings.

That said, I'd swear that Cassius wants a threesome with the poet. ;P

And you know me, I can't get enough of intense, breathy whisperings. ;)

(That looks really weird written out like that, but it is meant in exactly the way it seems, oh god, surely something is wrong with me)

HAHAHA YES, HE SO DOES, HOLY CRAP. Oh, Cassius, when you chuckle like that, it's obvious that you're winking.

(I had to re-write "chuckle" three times just now - the first two tries came out as "chuck" and "cluckle". I shouldn't be so amused by this.)

Once again I am Queen of the Inappropriately Long Replies, high-ho!
