Hey all (well to like the five of you who read my journal) hehe. Today is Monday, so not much to say on that note. I just wanted to remind everyone to look at the important things in life, and let people who you love know it, cause they might be gone before you get to tell them the next time. A heard today that one of my friends from my high school ( Read more... )

By coincidence, a friend of my seven year old niece died in a car accident the other day. I wonder if it was the same girl.

Was she with her dad at school?

I don't think so. From what I heard, the family was returning home from a gathering/get-together of some sort. Anyways, it was late and the little girl wanted to sleep so they let her take her seat belt off. The rest of the family in the van was unhurt, but she went through the windshield. It was the Abbene family. I'm sorry to hear about your niece's friend. So young and so sad.

Yeah, that's a totally different story.

Someone will have to explain to me how wearing a seat belt stops a 6-year-old from sleeping.

Yea it was Bene's sister. I found out at the last minute yesterday, and I couldn't make the rosary because I was working, and the funeral I believe is this morning, so unfortunately, I will be at work again. My mom went and heard the family was coming home late one night, and the girl wanted to sleep so they let her take her seat belt off. No one else was hurt, but she went through the windshield. So ironic huh? The one time she takes it off she gets hit. So sad...
