one of the things that happens to you at college, that you cant get in high school, is the ability for you to dictate what you think is right and wrong, and find other people whose ideas are similar to yours or completely different...and you are not blamed for your ideas. the only thing that mrs. arbuckle taught me was that college is a political forum for us to voice our opinions and fight for our rights in a safe environment.
in high school i was definitely against abortion. it made me angry. i have a wonderful friend who has had an abortion. i know why she did it. i know what would have happened if she hadnt. while i would have rather her taken a different way out, i'm glad that she had the option to do so. she's a wonderful person. she's changed a lot since having one.
no one can tell you what is wrong and what is right. we are allowed to decide for ourselves. fight for what you believe.
