So this is that Cherrygrove City everyone was talking about. I was figuring it would be a bit nicer from all the happy chatter about it. The music's no better here. Not at all. Heheh. Heh. Hehehe. Just more soul-less people running around as far as I can tell ( Read more... )

20/20 soul-vision, they're coming to take me away haha, trust me; i'm a doctor

Do you know how to make any...medicines? Some of my friends didn't have their meds taken with them.

Probably. Depends on what the medicine is exactly and if I can find the ingredients. What do you need?

Um... One needs medicine for HIV...another is going through drug rehab, I don't know exactly what she needs for that...and...the last one has a medicine for his cancer. MCL.

Bit of a tall order, isn't it? I guess I can try; I do love a good challenge. Give me a chance to find a few plants that I might need and I'll come hollering when I'm done. Who should I give these things out to exactly?

Man, isn't it a little early to play the 'creep' card?

But wouldn't it be dishonest of me to try and make a good first impression?

I might be wrong, but... offering to experiment on people's pokemon's not exactly a 'good impression'.

It's all in the name of science. I would have started working on my Magna-whatsit already, but it's made out of metal and I don't think a scalpel would work very well.

[...The mad scientist vibes are strong in this one. Considering what happened when we met one last, sooo glad we're already off to the next city.]

'Experimental procedures'?

[He's not as bad as Szayel, I swear!]

Yes. Nothing too invasive. Yet~

[The only reason you're not is you technically teach people. The only reason.

Also we heard that 'yet' :|]

You wish to experiment on live subjects, then?

[At least Stein doesn't look like a limp-wristed, pink-haired weakling so you can get a running start...?]

The dead ones usually aren't as much fun.

[Liquid has met many a creeper in his life, and quite a few doctors, and even a few creepy doctors, but this one was just... special. He makes a mental note to keep his Pokemon and himself, unless genetically-engineered clones don't interest him away from this guy.]

[Pfft his codename is enough to inspire interest, if he ever finds out about the clone thing, dissection will be imminent.

Stein used GLASSES OF OBFUSCATING STUPIDITY]

Do I really? [He pats the head of it like he honestly had no idea it existed] Well, thank you for telling me. That explains why everyone was staring.

[It's a good thing that 'are you a genetically-engineered supersoldier clone' isn't a question that frequently comes up in conversation.]

...Why do you have a bolt in your head?

[People with large metal objects through their skulls are usually, you know, dead.]

Because it helps me focus my thoughts. [He turns it to demonstrate]

[Stop getting your logic in my weird science B|]
