I think you mean Violet city. Kinda strange to name all the major urban areas after colours, if you ask me...

Yes, that one. And all the small ones are named after plants. The urban planners around here have an odd sense of humor, to say the least.

That, or a seriously lacking imagination.

And to answer your second question, I haven't bothered to catch a second creature. Corrine and I are getting along just fine by ourselves.

At least I'm not the only stubborn one. Why'd you name it, though? We're using them to fight, I don't see why you'd get so attached.

Rocks with arms? Where are you?

Violet City. But on one of those paths - 31, I think - there was a little cave that I decided to wander into looking for plants. And a rock with arms popped up. Those little things are really a hazard; someone could trip.

Huh. Interesting. Maybe I'll have to stop by there.

Maybe you should. And I'd appreciate it if you answered my actual question. If I'm being forced to catch these things, I might as well make an educated decision.

I suppose I got lucky with my partner. Dragon-types are very durable. But if you're having issues, I suggest a water-type or grass-type!

The electricity is nice, but it just doesn't work on some things, evidently. Hm. In theory, the water-type would work better, considering water's conductivity, but using two of them in tandem like that might be against the rules.

You realize this is just an elaborate version of rock, paper, scissors, yes? Water and grass types work better against rock types. Rock types do well against flying and thunder.

...That's all? I was figuring that this would have to be slightly more complex than that.

Ah, the medicine's ready? I'll let them know!!

Yup. I just hope they work well enough that I don't have to operate on any of them. Although...

Uuu- I hope not. Hospitals are a little scary...

They can be very scary depending on the doctor.

Squirrel? That's a new one. So how did you catch it if you didn't want it?

Mm I suppose that's what it was. It certainly looked like a type of rock.

Gotta be.

Seriously, I jus' threw a ball so it'd get off dis kid's face. But I'mma school it!

It would make sense, wouldn't it?

Good luck schooling it. Though I warn you, I've tried schooling annoying, mean kids before, and it doesn't always work as well as you'd hoped. Maybe squirrels are different.
