Pardon that sound, that was my last nerve shattering.

What. A. Nightmare.

Yeah. So my father has been in pain for quite a while - vomiting, lying in bed, etc. There's been a nasty virus going around with the same symptoms, so naturally we assumed it was this.

*hugs* Jeeze, honey, I'm so sorry to hear about all of this. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

*huggles* Thanks, love. It's been a stressful couple of days but we're all hanging in there. Dad's a stubborn old bloke and he loves "his girls" (Mum, Nicole and me) too much to leave us any time soon. Also, he and Mum just celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary so he's probably hanging in there for the golden 50th just so he can make me buy them something fancy, haha. ^_~

I feel really bad now about nagging him to eat (he'd gotten severely underwieght recently and both Mum and I had been on his case a lot) but with the ulcer, he probably felt uncomfortable eating more than just a little amount.

*Hugs* Wow...I was just thinking about your dad earlier, too. I hope everything turns out okay. I will keep you guys in my thoughts.

Thanks. *huggles* I really need all the thoughts and support that I can get because Dad's got this other operation to get through before we can relax. But he's safe and stable at the moment so that's something I'm incredibly thankful for.
