Hmm. So, there's this mem I found on dawning_star's journal and I liked it enough to bring it over. It's been a while since I did a meme anyway.

1. My username is dontgiveahoot because it generally fits my laid-back "she'll be right, mate" typical Aussie attitude. Plus, I like owls, and my username has always been related to owls somehow, no matter what it's been. Because of this, one of my icons has a little scops owl with the caption "Do I look like I give a hoot?!" on it - that's what gave me the idea for it. And when I suggested it along with a few other options for my new username to friends, 'dontgiveahoot' won unanimously.
2. My journal is titled "I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins". Again with the owl theme, but this is actually from the Bible - Psalms 102:6 (NIV)
3. My subtitle is "If I could fly for just one hour... I'd probably get lost". This is because it is entirely true. I am so directionally challenged it isn't funny. Remember the third Indiana Jones movie where Indy is talking about a character and says "You know Marcus - he got lost once in his own museum!" Yeah. That sort of thing takes talent, and unfortunately I have it.
4. My friends page doesn't have any title. I can't think of anything witty. Anyone have any ideas?

The caption reads "One should always be a little improbable". I cannot remember where this quotation comes from, but it encapsulates my outlook on life so perfectly that it simply had to be my default.
