Essay prompt post for Hanatarou, Lyra, and Kazumi. Maybe if other people prompt me to essay, I'll actually stop being lazy and do it. (I um, need the practice for my senior thesis!)
Kazumi's thoughts on yaoi Sayo... have changed some since this question was asked! :D But starting from the beginning...
Kazumi wasn't expecting anything like what's actually developed between them to happen when she first offered to be Sayo's friend. It seemed like before, she hadn't been the type to have any really close friends. She'd had lots of friendly acquaintances, and more recently the group she'd allied with to help Negi and keep his secret, but nobody she'd talk to at length about anything other than business, share personal thoughts and feelings with, etc.
Then Sayo came and, well, started hanging out in Kazumi's body, among other things. But also, my guess is she was probably the first person Kazumi found at school who was willing to just... talk with her, about herself, without acting paranoid that whatever she said would end up in the paper the next day. And with that, Kazumi's reasons for being friends with Sayo moved beyond the initial "Oh, poor thing, we should be nice to her!" She isn't fully aware of it yet, but

Like Kazumi said to Sayo yesterday when she genderswitched, she is CONVINCED THERE IS A METHOD TO THE MADNESS OF CAMP and nothing the Director or whoever else does to make camp seem random is going to stop her from trying to find out what it is. She's not sure about the story Ari told her, of the Director having murdered her fiance and gathered all the other campers as suspects because she's crazy. That's one possibility, but others can't be ruled out: maybe someone else was the murderer, or the death was accidental, and that was what drove the Director to insanity; or maybe there was never any murder in the first place and it's just a made-up excuse to gather people as test subjects for the camp "viruses." Which Kazumi is sure are not really viruses at all, but SUPER-ADVANCED TOP SEKRIT TECHNOLOGY developed by the Director or whoever's really running the camp to perfect and use in plans of world domination or something like that

For a brief summary of Kazumi's thoughts on yaoi, see keywords. I'M SURE THIS IS ALMOST AS SHOCKING AS CAESAR BEING GAY.
So canonically, these are Kazumi's thoughts on het (specifically, her classmate Nodoka's crush on Negi... which also makes it her thoughts on shouta but I like to think this is a special case because it's Negi and all):
Nodoka: I'm... afraid to hear his response, so... Kazumi: Ahahahaha! You're so cute, Miyazaki! ♥ We can't have that! You're not a primary school girl anymore, you know! Well, whatever, it doesn't really matter... Nodoka: Ah... this could be troublesome for Sensei, so please keep it a secret... Kazumi: Okay, okay! I got it! I'm supporting you, so give it your best, Miyazaki! ♥
And these are Kazumi's canon thoughts on yuri (specifically, her classmates Konoka and Setsuna who are supertextually in love but won't admit it):
Kazumi: Mmm, so they do have that kind of relationship after all? ... Why didn't you tell us about something as important as this? How long have you two been going out for?! [
