Since it's less than a week away...

I have decided it was time for a repost of my Questions Not to Ask.

I added one new question, which I really hope no one asks, and of course will enjoy seeing if anyone else has any to add. I REALLY want to make this a huge sign. Maybe I'll at least print it out and tape it to our hotel door. Too bad we can't find a way to hand it out at the con so ( Read more... )

Hopefully people see this and actually NOT do it. I get tired of the same ole questions being asked and I really get pissed at the rude out of line ones too. You should add this one to the list:
Do you still live with each other?
and
Are you still going to be friends when you're done with SN?
and
What stories can you give us on Jared or on Jensen?

I like hearing stories but I rather it the boys be the ones to volunteer a story, rather than be forced to tell one because a fan asked. The boys are very private and I think they get awkward when asked to tell stories about each other and their lives.

Oh gosh good ones! You know the living together is going to come up. I will definitely add these! Thanks.

I sure do hope people see it too. I'm trying!

Just hoping someone who has asked the above questions doesn't get mad at me lol. I'd be scared.

Yeh I'm afraid it will, now more than ever since Jensen is engaged. o_O

I figure if the question has been asked before don't ask it again, simple. At least that's what I think, some fans don't since they ask them anyways.

Don't be scared, you're just being a true fan. If a person gets upset so what! At least you know they read your list and it'll be running through their minds and maybe they'll ask something different ;)

This is true.

I actually had one negative comment so far. Just telling me that I shouldn't ask people not to repeat questions since not everyone has gone to more than one or maybe even any con before.

Most people have realized that this is really just out of fun and if people want to ask the question then they're gonna ask it anyways. I'm just giving them a heads up of what will get them booed or have over a thousand eyes rolling all at once.

Excellent list!

And how about: Don't ask Jensen if he's going to have a music career . No, he's working on this one. The acting one!

IMO thoughtful questions about the acting process or how they make choices for their characters seem to get the best responses from both of the guys, but very few seem to get asked.

AMEN!

They always ask if he's been working on something musical or if he'd ever do Broadway. People really need to get original, huh? I think I will make a sign that also says "Stupid question" and hold it up every time someone asks one. I feel like that would be hilarious but also cause much trouble lol.

Thanks for the support! =) I will definitely add your question!

LMAO like an action with people holding up their little Popsicle stick thingys. That would be hilarious. If I can convince my friends to do it then I might lol. =)

I love you for this. Are you really going to post it on your door? You should photocopy it and just put them on all the seats... haha! Like they'd ever let you get away with that. But still!

I love you too! See we can all me loving in this fandom! =)

I so wanted to print a bunch out and leave them at registration but I don't have that kind of money sadly. I bet I could figure out a way to get away with it though.

kitsunehi13 mentioned posting this and something she made in the elevators so I'm thinking I may just do that lol. They might not stay up very long but It'd be fun to see how long they last =).

I had no idea Jared had issues with NY Minute... Learn something new every day lol

And I think this is a good reminder for con attendees. Not just about inappropriate questions/comment/actions but also repetitive ones. If I get bored reading about them after every convention, I'm sure the actors are just as bored (if not more) answering them again.

Exactly! I want them to be asked questions they've never been asked before. Not silly questions, but like you said, thoughtful ones about the acting business or maybe what they would like to try next when SPN is over. What about...do they want to go on to another job immediately, or maybe take some time off first to relax from all the hard work these five years?

This one? Yeah, I love it too! Kind of appropriate, considering the topic, huh?

I have one:

Don't ask if Alec (Dark Angel) and Dean (Supernatural) are brothers.

That stellar question was asked to Jensen after the PETA question/lecture was asked to Jared at the Vancouver con in August.

Haha that's just a really lame question.

People always seem to ask him the similarities between Alec and Dean too which is over done.

I feel so bad for the boys. They really don't deserve some of the questions or statements people come up with!
