Master PostSoundtrack Acknowledgments
First of all I want to say thank you to
siiy for being extremely kind and understanding. The tale behind my story is that the lovely
siiy bid on me for the Help Japan community. I made her wait for almost a year for her story because I'm a ridiculously slow writer who had lost my muse while struggling to get through school. Her prompt was so great that when my muse finally came back to me it didn't want to shut up. By the time I finished, the story was almost 70 pages long. It turned out that I was actually extremely proud of the story, and when I asked
siiy if I could post it as a big bang she agreed. I'm not sure if she even got the chance to read the story yet, but I hope it made up for SOME of the wait.
Next I want to thank
heatherofnight for ALWAYS being there for me. She's one of the few that got me into writing and she's helped me grow so much over the years. I NEVER would have had the courage to post my first J2 if it wasn't for her. This was my first solo big bang and luckily
heatherofnight was right there cheering me on. She's not only a cheerleader, but a wonderful beta who knows how to whip my story into shape. I also have to thank
dolnmoon for helping out along the way this year. I had a rough time with the whole process, but she was there to pick me up and give me advice whenever I needed it. I would have backed out of big bang if it wasn't for her!
I also have to give a HUGE THANKS to the moderators of this outstanding challenge.
wendy and
thehighwaywoman work so hard every year, and I don't know if many people realize just how amazing they really are. Having gone through two artists, one dropping out 2 weeks before my post date, I can say these ladies are truly wonderful. They were right there to pair me up with another artist and made sure that my story would be posted with art even if it meant moving my post date. Thank you so much for all you do!
And speaking of artists, my last thank you is going out to the best artist ever,
beelikej. As I mentioned before, the artwork part of big bang was a bit of a fiasco for me this year. When I received an email from my THIRD artist of the challenge I was honestly a bit weary. Turns out that I am one of the luckiest authors because I got to work with
beelikej. She stepped in with little time to work and contacted me the entire process. The best part is that she just understood my story so well. Her artwork is a perfect visual representation of what I wrote and I didn't think that was possible. I can't say thank you to her enough because she really did save the day when she stepped in as a pinch hitter.
So now I am finally posting this story and the weight of it is off my shoulders. I can't believe I had so many wonderful people helping me throughout the whole process, and I hope they all know how much their support means to me. Here goes nothing!
I had so much fun writing this story, and it is one I am extremely proud of so hopefully you all enjoy reading it.
Thanks for checking it out!
