my answer: i want to get a degree so i can make enough money to struggle by when i've graduated. ok, well that's part of it. i want to be a teacher so that i can "help change lives." i know that's the lamest answer possible, but there are not enough teachers out there who are truly passionate about what they are teaching. sometimes all it takes is just one teacher who is so passionate that they change or help form your outlook on life. i had two, and it was amazing. if i'm able to do that with one kid, put them in a better place, i know my time was well spent
