Genuine versus superficial relationships. I was thinking about Amanda and how we have a completely open relationship, and I really feel like we have a truly unconditional friendship. I can say anything that I'm thinking to her without fear of being judged, because even if it's something terrible that I say or do, she knows me well enough to follow ( Read more... )

I have very few people that I really feel like I can trust with anything... even though I hardly see her, Jennifer is one. Charles, obviously, is another. Loraine I trust completely, and I have my family. I miss you kiddo, and I'm glad you get to be home for Easter. I'm looking forward to seeing you.

BTW, Loraine has her first clinical for her EMT training early in the morning, and there's always the chance that she could see people die, or be really mangled up. Drop her a comment and wish her well on her first clinical if you get to this before 6 am or so.

Love ya.

i went to tiny catholic schools all my life and basically only hung out with one or two different people every year. there were some slim pickins, and there were also some good people there. going from a class of 100 at nolan to UNT was a major shift, so i've also found that i've made friends with a lot of people i've soon outgrown in the two years i've been here... i consider myself pretty lucky for having two people in my life that i can tell anything to, etc ( ... )

Hahahaha. I miss your posts. Are you using myspace now? Because I can't figure it the hell out.

I think that the friendship that we do have might not be very deep right now, but I wouldn't call it superficial either. We definitely should hang out this summer. Though I can't promise to stop whoring about!!!!

I mean, what?

yeah, i use myspace now to try to cut back on the time that i spend online. it's basically like having a xanga + a much better version of facebook.

i would probably just go ahead and delete my lj if it weren't for a small handful of journals, and the fact that i'm friends on here with a singer that i've idolized since 8th grade. there is still a little fangirl in me.
