✰001 - don't bring around a cloud to rain on my parade

Okay, I have no idea how I got here, but this is not the point. While every other member of New Directions is probably spending their summer reading Twilight or playing video games, Rachel Berry has very important things to take care of. Not only do I fully intended to spend at least a week in New York doing nothing but seeing musicals, I also need ( Read more... )

That was painful to read for a multitude of reasons.

But more importantly, you're here too? Have you seen anyone else from Glee club?

I haven't seen anyone else, no. I'll choose to ignore the rest of that comment.

I haven't either. This place is ridiculously oversized though. We might have missed them somewhere among the tacky decor.

It isn't that bad.

But it doesn't matter! We have to get home! I have things to work on.

You know Tinkerbell? Are you from Neverland?

Reply

dontrainonmy June 11 2010, 04:54:26 UTC
...Neverland? Tinkerbell is just a character from a story. Neverland, of course, is from the Peter Pan story too, but...

No. I'm from Lima, Ohio, actually.

Someone wrote a story about Peter Pan? That's so cool! I wonder if he knows?

Peter Pan isn't a person. He's just a character. There's a play about him, too, it's quite good. And Disney did a movie, that was pretty good too. The music Disney writes has always been pretty good.

Of course. I will be one some day.

How do you become one?

Are you really going to be a singing star? Like an actress? The ladies who live downstairs in my new house back home were stars...but now they're sort of retired.

Right...about the going home part. Nobody's figured out how to do that yet, so it's pretty much up to the mansion. But don't worry! This place is like in another universe or dimension or something, so no one'll ever notice you were gone, and hopefully you won't miss your summer break, because that would really stink.

I'm going to be both - a broadway star! It's been my dream all my life.

...Wait, really?

That's really cool.

That's what I figure. People go home and sometimes they come back here and don't remember anymore- and sometimes people come who are from the same place, and they never say anything like "So hey, where've you been, you've been missing!"

And you also don't really get any older here either. I've been here more than a year- no growth spurts or anything! So you should feel right at home, Miss Tinkerbell.

Huh.

I'm not Tinkerbell, though, she's just a character. I'm Rachel Berry. It's nice to meet you, uh...
