Yeah, I haven't read too much about, and I honestly don't want to. Without Joss on board, what's the use? When you think of Buffy you almost always think of Joss Whedon next. He and his crew made Buffy what it is today and I can't imagine anyone else making it any other way. Why the hell can't people come up with origianal ideas? What's wrong with being creative? If someone isn't making a remake of something, they're making something that's original and dumb ass hell. As a writer that makes me so very upset and so very sad.

Something as massive and as epic as Buffy the Vampire Slayer SHOULD NOT be toyed with! It's had it's run and now it's time for something new to come along. We have our memories and I for one am content with that.

The problem with it is that the Kuzuis own the rights to Buffy having discovered it over a decade ago, so regardless if Whedon is involved or not they can do basically whatever they want. I was telling Dawny that no matter what route they go with it, it's just not going to be the same. Like you said Joss is the master mind behind Buffy. It was his baby to begin with. Without him or any of the other writers/producers (aka Marti Noxon, David Fury, David Greenwalt, David Solomon, Jane Espenson) it just won't be the same. Granted Kaz Kuzui IS one of the MAJOR producers of the show, but still
