[The Doctor wasn't much of one for domestics. Actually, he hated domestics. Because he was absolute rubbish at domestics. Weddings, families, babies (especially babies), and the whole kit and kaboodle. The only thing he was really good at with the entire thing was showing people things they'd never seen before

[Time was very wibbly wobbly in the TARDIS but her mobile's date and time informed her quite clearly that it was her birthday. As she picked out her clothes for the day - shirt, jeans, hoodie and of course running-friendly shoes - she wondered what she could do for her birthday.

Maybe she could pick something up wherever they were going.

After all, the note on her door said they were going somewhere fantastic. She smiled as she gently took the note off her bedroom door, folded it and tucked it into her pocket as she headed over to the console room.]

[He gave her his welcoming grin. The one he always gave her when she walked into the console room. He was going to treat it like any normal day until they got to their destination. One spectacular birthday for Rose Tyler. She deserved it, after all. She really did.]
