I'm right about most things, I know this much for sure. So when people try and fight with me who are also convinced that they are wrong, I get severly offended and fight back until my point is agreed upon

Ego thing. Egos clash, I guess you could say about it. Not that either are horrible, but it just makes for a hostile environment when they clash. Maybe you could say that about maple syrup and mustard. They're both tasty in and of themselves (especially on pancakes and samiches, respectively), but when you try to combine the two... The end result tastes pretty awful.

How many people do you usually talk to who act like said dude? Personally I know of a lot of people who are like him and his wife... Too bad that us fair folk have to deal with those assholes.
