We saw Gogol Bordello at Glasto, in the heaviest rain storm ever. They were amazing! But my pasty got wet.

i watched gogol at glasto on tv, and it looked as if someone was standing right in front of the camera with a garden hose! it looked like it was raining so much! i would make a claim for them being the best live band in the world at the moment though.

We headed to the Cross Cafe bar in Moseley on Wednesday and got to see preview shows from Steve Day anf Glenn Wool which were both really good. Alex Horne is previewing his show at the MAC next Thursday alongside Rob Deering so that should be another good night. The Glee meanwhile have got some cracking previews lined up - Jason Manford and john Bishop next week and Adam Bloom and Andrew Maxwell the week after.

ooh yes, i read your entry about steve & glenn. i will try to check out glenn's show if i get time, i don't think i'm going to be around when steve is on. i'd really recommend the acts in my list above if you get the time in your busy schedule at edinburgh!
