Wow. There's alot of pain going on around the DTS campus. When you live life with people, really live life with them, there's just alot of pain and heartache. I know we're supposed to go through trials and I know life is hard, but why is so much stuff happening in this one semester? Well in some parts. We've gotten nearly 10 inches of rain today. People are being rescued from their cars by boats. The Trinity River and White Rock Lake have overflowed. Baylor Hospital, also where the gym I work out at is, it flooded. So I guess I'm not going to go work out tonight b/c we're supposed to get more rain. Over by the seminary ( Read more... )

My spring break is over. It wasn't bad, just not very exciting and kind of anti-climatic. Like I definitely had fun spending time with people and getting to know them more, but I feel like something was missing. Maybe it's b/c I spent most of yesterday in bed. I did not feel good at all. I went to the library today and studied, on my spring break. Crazy. But I need to get caught up on my work. I was reading for Trinitarianism which I actually enjoy. I don't usually update this in the middle of the day but I tried seaweed today. And it's seaweed from Taiwan. There was a brown-bag (if you don't know what it is, just ask) about counseling and missions and he passed out some "candy" which just happens to be seaweed. Um, it's disgusting. So the Lord is definitely humbling me through this whole WEC thing. There was some miscommunication that was my fault, but it all got worked out and no one was mad or upset.
