Hey guys! As you may or may not remember, someone made a cookbook last year for their RayV Day contribution, and they've inspired me! I would like to do a collaborative community project again, but this year I want to do a cookbook! Very vaguely the night of 16th, mostly so I can have a whole weekend to put it together! (Later than the 16th is fine, probably, I'd just prefer to have more time rather than less...)

I don't want to stick you with last-minute pressures, so maybe it's best if you figure I won't be able to do this. I am working 11-hour days this week, plus writing for the dSC6D BB and beta'ing two things for the dSC6D BB, and hoping to get something written for Ray Vecchio Day 2016...all while having been sick for 12 days with an elevated temperature...so as much as I want to be in on this cookbook thing, you can see why I am now having my doubts.

And then I had an additional thinky thought: how about I do a contribution to the cookbook and that will be my this year's contrib for the RayV fest? I really REALLY want to do the cookbook thing.

Checking in to let you know I'm currently working on "5 Italian Meals that Ray Vecchio Ate and One He Didn't" -- my first-ever "5+1" trope -- and I will email the results to you some time tomorrow (Saturday).

Close to 3 AM here, writing through the night. I've changed it from five MEALS to five FOODS 'cause I was seeing that reading and selecting recipes for entire meals was gonna be down the foodie rabbit hole and not finished writng on Saturday. So far I've got captions and recipes for baby!Ray's first birthday recipe and for Vecchio family Christmas Eve recipe. Two down, four to go.

Gah. Having some problems in my Word Doc for the recipes thingy. Will you accept it with possible inconsistencies in some line lengths and possible inconsistencies in paragraph spacing? (I figure you would be doing some reformatting anyways, but I don't want you to think that I would normally send something that has obvious format errors as if I didn't care. Just, I am at the limits of my ability to "do stuff" right now...been diagnosed with pneumonia and also still have that elevated temperature that I've had since the beginning of the month. If it weren't for my determination to be a part of Ray Vecchio Day I would be resting in bed rather than at work on the laptop.)
