A bit of an update...

The house is continuing to be awesome. We didn't get to do the things we wanted such as re-sod the lawn, add the Roman bathtub as a present to Guy, or get a few other additions done but they'll get done soon enough. Those things are just extras and the house and the lack of the realtor/lender team are enough

I think you're right. It's also easier for me to read and hold up. I just rest it on my mid chest and I don't really have to hold it up just sort of balance it.

I have heard that the Dexter series isn't that good...have you read any of the books yet?
I have been buying all my books from the "teen" section as of late. I have the second book of the Percy Jackson series to read, and I started a book called "Ghost Girl" which now has a second book. However, I did just finish the fourth book in the "Songs of Fire and Ice" series by George RR Martin. If you haven't read that yet, you definitely should! It is going to be a show on HBO soon.

Thanks. I saw your post about "Songs of Fire and Ice". I think I've read RR Martin a LONG time ago. Something tells me I have but I don't remember and I'm too lazy to google right now.

I read the first one and it's pretty good in my opinion. The novel takes a MAJOR deviation from the television series and I heard they divert even more as the series continues.

I'll look into "Songs of FIre and Ice". Thinking about reading the War against the Chtorr series. I saw it years ago and they concept (and invading ecosystem) just stuck with me.
