Neck hurts and I can't turn (had my procedure where they blast away part of my vertebrae to alleviate pressure). Reading Anita Blake and the Dexter series to pass away the time.
A meeting with my old doctor (She said she wanted to meet me about a week later before they wheeled me in) and presumably a meeting with the doctor near Red Rock... and then we can start to wrap this up.
The first book has some major differences... I heard they divert even more in the later books.
Right now I'm 50% though book two. There's been no mention on the Bay Harbor Butcher and the big bad is someone that removes limbs. (Figure that's not too bad of a spoiler).
There's more differences but I don't want to spoil anything. There's a few differences in characterizations as well. Some people are just a bit smarter in the book.

At least we're (and more importantly you) winding down with all of this. More hopefully, the positive results kick in soon.

DEXTER!!!!!!!!!! I've read the first one, but I've seen every season. Are they the same?

Eh... he's probably right. At least people won't glare at him angrily when we're at a restaurant and I have multiple bruises!
