I too often feel as if I have nowhere to feel at home when it comes to others. I have often described it as being just an eye... I go around seeing everything, yet that's all I feel like I am doing... observing yet never 'fitting in'. There may be times when I feel like actually part of someone's life, but for the most part that feeling is fleeting and seems to be shared by me alone.

I communicate best when I am alone as well. A lot of the time, the way I can describe myself best to others is through notes and letters. I never know what to say in person... although I'd much rather talk in person, I think that words are too superficial and can't describe what I am thinking well enough.
