This one is definitely based on a true story. We start introductions and I come to the realization that this web comic, video games, and the fact that I'm technically Hispanic (despite all appearances to the contrary) were the only things I had to say. I think the problem comes in when people who did undergrad years ago enter graduate programs - 'cause they've had a life beyond undergraduate and get all these stories and impressive things that accumulate on them as though onto a Katamari.

That and overachieving undergrads. The punks!

Perhaps "overachieving" is the correct word, Milo... After all, after I took OVER 11 years to do it, I did indeed finally ACHIEVE getting my BS in Math.
And as for being an ace at Math and Art since the age of four, I'll have you to know that I've been a MASTER at both since I was THREE, thank you very much!
