The total lack of energy is gone. The cough and sniffling remain (along with what feels like the inside of my head is itching).

Apparently the key to a cure is in fact 5 hours of sleep and a dream where I'm a half-vampire doing battle in WWII. Who knew?

Dreams are awesome, especially when they're that sort of adventure! And especially when they cure your sicknesses!

Oddly my dreams are nearly always adventurous. Though, my sick dreams are unique because they're always very... not confused, per se, but something like that. Everything is muddled and difficult to operate - in this one, it was like I was wearing some sort of very thick armor that inhibited my movements and half-vampire abilities, and half the challenge was getting the armor to work with me rather than against me. It also dulled my senses, blurring everything, etc.

The night's before, which was ineffective at curing my sickness *grin*, had to do with using some sort of Nature-based power to rebuild/ tear down the walls of a basin/ lake to keep something from attacking those of us that lived inside. It was equally muddled because I discovered I had to will myself into a certain emotional/ physical state to access different powers (like... anger, sickness, sadness, excitedness). Equally muddled, though, for some reason.

I also had a muddled/distracted one the other night...

At this point I don't remember much of the actual plot, but for a lot of it, I had a piece of gum stuck all along the inside of my teeth. Totally stuck there, a lot of my mental effort in the dream was spent trying to use my tongue to get it off/out. I finally did, then a short while later the same thing happened. I remembered thinking it weird, because gum didn't usually do that, and because I don't usually chew gum.

When I woke up I realized it was because I had worn my retainer, which I don't usually do. Heh.
