So, I put a thing through the Jellyvision automated comment doohickey, expecting really just an automated response. And they sent a real one! I don't think I know many companies that'd do that short of tech-support type stuff.
Cool.
Hi there Camilo,
Thanks for contacting us. Helping out med students, eh? Not a bad idea at all. We will certainly take it into consideration. But for a plethora (good word!) of reasons, it's not something that we can see ourselves doing in the immediate future. So for now, let's just say that a lot of people at Jellyvision are too squeamish to be reading up on medical terminology. But if, per se, you know someone who would love to throw piles and piles of money at us in order to make such a program, then by all means send them our way!
But of course if we were to take on such a project, you would be long since done with med school by the time it was finished. And you're the only med student we care about, Camilo!
Thanks again for contacting us, and take care!
Sincerely,
Jellyvision, Inc.

Subject: [Advertise/Work With Us] Random Suggestion?

I don't really want to work with you guys, per se... but have you
considered making a teaching-aid version of YDKJ for something like
medical school? I know more random facts from playing YDKJ throughout my
"formative years" than I can shake a duck at. And with the cost of
medical school teaching stuff in the hundreds, you could probably make a
pretty penny off us desperate students. We even develop twisted (and
oft-retarded) senses of humor that could be used against us, in an
economic sorta way.
I guess... I figure you'd already considered this at some point. But on
the off-chance you hadn't, this is a plea from the ranks of students
trying to desperately memorize random medical factoids.

Also, it's occurred to me that I could be gaining more use out of my tags as both a search function and a categorization. So I'll be doing that now.
