Matin Catorce

14 years old, right-handed, the "positive" one of the twins, the wielder of The Sword Of Hope; Trisagion. Though she became the empress of Noigllado for having the ability to wield Trisagion, she was too young to have enough authoritativeness that few ministers and knights swore their oaths of allegiance to her.

Matin doesn't have any power at all. She is just a figurehead controlled by an organization behind the scenes which is named "Agiona". They have the virtual power to dominate the whole holy kingdom. The heir to the throne was always decided by them. Of course, they chose Matin.

Agiona abandoned Nox who was intended to be the heir to the throne, but made Matin the first Empress of the holy kingdom. No one knows the reason. Maybe it's because that they know Nox can't wield the sword of Trisagion. They surely know a lot about Ristaccia.

She grew up in the palace, the fabulous life made her heart full of love. She did not even know how to hate another person. When she learned that she had a brother who was abandoned few years who was still alive, she instantly began to pray for him and tried to find him. Though she could feel Nox's hatred from the Ristaccia piece in her necklace, she still loved Nox and wanted to save him from hatred. But this does not mean that she was weak girl. Her heart was adamant enough, and she had a strong sense of justice. She would do anything for her country and her people, even if it meant sacrificing herself or to kill a loved one. To safeguard her justice, finally, she put her customized armor (which housed one piece of Ristaccia) and brought the sword of Trisagion up, to fight her loving brother.

It is implied that Nox defeated Matin, and ended up ruling Noigllado with Hannes, but Matin's fate in regards to such is unknown.

Personality: Matin is nothing but kind and loving, having never known how to hate, or ever hating anyone, even though her own twin brother wants nothing more than her death. She has a strong sense of justice, and could do anything if it was for her country and people, even if it meant sacrificing herself or killing someone she loved. Still, she loves Nox, and wishes to save him from his hatred, despite the hold his Ristaccia shard has over him.

While she has no real power as Empress, she loves her people all the same, and takes her role seriously. Even if few have sworn allegiance to her, she remains dedicated to her country. On an equal level, even though Nox and Matin had never seen each other before, she loves him dearly, and prays for him. This, however, doesn't mean Matin is not above killing her own brother if it's for the sake of her kingdom.

Like night and day, Matin and Knox are polar opposites. Matin is the "positive" twin, and henceforth the wielder of the sword of hope, while Nox is the "negative" twin, and the wielder of the sword of despair. While the twins and swords are of perfect symmetry, to avoid conflict between the positive and negative one, Nox had to be abandoned. This is why Matin is the Empress instead.

Because Matin has never known hatred, the Ristaccia cannot control her like it does Nox. While the Ristaccia piece Matin possesses cannot control her, she is able to feel her brother's hatred towards her through it. Eventually, she takes up Trisagion to fight against her brother, for the good of her people.

Although Matin isn't exactly weak-willed or weak in strength, being raised in the palace has made her very naive. Because she knows no hate, she believes everyone loves each other and gets along well. Because she has lived a sheltered life, she does not know the concept of "evil".

Abilities: Technically none, except her skills with Trisagion.
Sample Entry: My apologies for not introducing myself sooner. I am Matin Catorce, the Empress of the holy kingdom of Noigllado. From what I have learned so far, this is a "town" called "Mayfield", correct? They say it pulls people here, and traps them, but could someone offer an explanation as to how this is possible?

...I have also heard warnings about the milk, as well as this "post office". Could someone clarify these further for me? Why am I to avoid drinking the milk, and why should I avoid the "post office"?

Thank you for your time in advance, to whomever can answer me.
