Saturday morning I found Kiwi at the bottom of the cage. "Kiwi? Kiwi?" I opened the cage and took out his body. I cradled it in my hands. I went to mom's room and said, "Mommy, Kiwi is gone," and just started to cry. That morning we buried him in a Sony box, resting him on top of some bubble wrap.
