+Tarot cards are neat, I've always wanted to learn how but never got around to it.

I really really love that quote and I can't believe it was in a Church. That makes me love it even more! It is beautiful, and I am not religious either.

I think you would fit in. Good Luck!

What you didn't see were all the typos in the Desiderata. I only posted the last half, and the plaque is plagued with typos, misspellings, and bad grammar that I oh-so conveniently left out.

My skin's not awesome anymore, man. I just broke out a couple of weeks ago with these horrible hormonal pimples. They're gone now, but damn, I didn't know having bad skin could make my self-esteem plummet like that. They were heinous, like little alien growths sprouting from my face.

Tarot isn't difficult at all. I live on the border of the Bible Belt (which I've lovingly dubbed the Macaroni and Cheese Belt), so the reactions I get when people find out I can read are hilarious. "What, so, you can, like, talk to, you know, spirits?" "Tarot cards are for sinners! You shouldn't talk to dead people!" Reading tarot is horribly misunderstood around these parts.

Thanks for the yes, my dear. Do I spy a Garden State icon?

Though I really love your eye shadow in the second to last picture, we just have nothing in common. Sorry.

I really didn't think rating communities were about having things in common with the other people. Those are generally interest based communities. Thank you anyway, though.

your sexuality answer is what swayed me to the answer above. you seem to antiestablishmentarianism (i dont know if its a word or if it applys but its long and hard to read).

Antiestablismentarianism and antidisestablishmentarianism are both words, and you did spell it correctly. It implies an opposition to the social and political establishment. Sexuality has no place in an "establishment"-- it is strictly a personal thing. I would love elaboration as to why you think my answer on sexuality makes me out to be an antiestablishmentarianist.

To clarify my sexuality answer: I am dating a male, but have dated females in the past. I can't honestly say I'm bisexual or heterosexual. This will not always be the case. I'm sixteen years old, and I feel that my perspective on sexuality is in constant evolution the more I experience and learn. To say I am one thing or the other at such an early stage in my life would be to limit myself.

i wrote my response poorly because i didnt mean to imply that one had to do with the other. frankly as much as you deny the fact that sex has no place in the mainstream (being that gay marriage is such a hot topic) is merely an example of you denying the establishment for what it is........absolute. you nor i can control such measures and to come off angry because i have realized that this establishment has total control is rediculous. you cant tell me that you believe in the social or political establishment currently because of your make the mods laugh, so i apologize and regret to inform you but your tarot card says blow job. the fact that you are even into tarot cards proves my point more you are an disestablishmentarinst. ty. and if you care to reply go ahead because ill be awake for a few more hours.

Nah, I definitely see where you're coming from with the antiestablishmentarianism comment, BUT not necessarily where my views on my own personal sexuality is concerned. Your response does have a lot of merit.

(Also, I'm curious-- why would someone's sexuality and/or views on "the establishment" make you say no?)

I can't even remember why the B and J are on the pillars in the photograph of the High Priestess. I should probably look that up.
