Oh oh yay! So glad this is on LJ, so I can comment!

This is bringing up all sorts of achy feelings, but I'm damn eager to follow this through. Kurt remembering why those 'memories' of the future seem so familiar is heartbreaking....and that moment when Blaine looks up and sees Kurt in NYC is so crisp, and clear and I can just *hear* the thumping of heart beats. I love the description of Kurt, and the little details that are different which Blaine notices. And this "...Ben is standing there, looking back and forth between them and slowly sliding from thinking he is about to hear hilarious anecdotes about teenaged Blaine to realizing there is so much more here." : oh yes. there IS so much more there.

I'm going to listen to the heartbreaking vers of teenage dream now. because i'm a sucker for angst that way.

excited to see what comes next!! :)

I have had the meeting on the New York street written for over six months. It's just been sitting there on my harddrive waiting for a story to wrap around it. I'm so happy it stood out for you! There is so much there and it has been five years since they saw each other and ten since they broke up and urg feels.

I wrote so much of this to teenage dream so I feel you on that. Thank you so much for this incredibly review, I hope you enjoy what is to come.

"They say goodbye and Ben watches as they don’t exchange numbers."

This says it all, doesn't it? The hurt, the longing, how intimidating this is for Ben. How do you say so much with so few words? Thank goodness you're updating daily, I can't imagine having to wait weeks for this!

Poor Ben. Coming to New York with Blaine really wasn't meant to go like this. Thank you so much for reviewing, I'm so happy to see people enjoying this even though it isn't my usual fic-style or anything. And yes, I have thirteen chapters left to post and only 19 days to do it so I pretty much have to do it daily. And I'm in a rush to get to the good bits. So...soon!

MAGNIFICENT. I love this. But, I already feel bad for Ben. LOL, I always feel bad for the nice significant others in these fics, they don't realize no one ships them... haha.

Wow, thank you!! And thank you for feeling bad for Ben. I've said it a few times: writing OCs for Blaine and Kurt to sleep with is scary because fandom hates that. So to write one that Blaine is in love with and have him still be relatable and likeable...yeah, that's something I'm really happy with. Poor Ben.

" they don't realize no one ships them... haha." : LOL!!!

But it's true.

I only feel bad though if they are nice [duh] - but I almost always give them a 'there there' pat, a slice of cake, and a talk about 'just accept the fate, friend', before putting them in a cab and sending them off. In my head.

lovely lovely lovely

Ben was great, having him make it more awkward in some ways, but actually the one to break the ice and ease the interaction in others. So achy and painful. The longing and tension was so sharp and real.

Poor boys and poor Ben. It must definitely be intimidating to see Kurt Hummel across the street and realize he's your bf's ex... gorgeous mofo.

Thank you! Poor Ben, I often wonder how that conversation would have gone if Ben hadn't been there. And then I think Blaine probably would have avoided it. So he was needed and he is the loser in the situation but...it happens.

And yes, oh my god, Kurt would have looked absolutely gorgeous. Ten years and fashion and being in New York will make him blindingly attractive, I think.
