Poor both of them! I really do feel for Ben. I think perhaps I should have made him a bit of a dick and then it would be just a little easier to watch them fall apart. Oh well...thanks for the review and the birthday wishes!

Grr (at myself) ; I made the terrible mistake of forgetting that this will be posted in parts ; settled down w/ a coffee, and was so engrossed until "A/N"! Aaah! Silly me! Don't get me wrong though ; I'm thrilled this is complete, and we have a little journey to lead us down to the new eps of Glee [no spoilers anyone, pls!]. I'm just kicking myself for being this greedy.

Just thinking about these two boys, and their dreams of Forever with each other ; building a home and lives and family with and around the other - and then all of that crashing to the ground. And then they live, year after year, separately, but still both holding on to their private memories of what was once shared dreams. It's so heartbreaking... :'(

Very much looking forward to what comes next.

Oops!! Well you can probably start being a bit greedy now. Chapters 5 through to about...10 are quite long so that will help. And I will keep posting and posting until it is all out there!!

Thank you for understanding what I was trying to do with the story. The whole 'decade long' thing has thrown a few people but I like the idea of them growing up apart and still having their memories and some inane hopes about each other. It hurts but it is nice, in my opinion, to see what they can be alone first.
