a whole extra chapter? I'm going to have to read 16 whole chapters plus an epilogue? why do you hate me so? Why must you subject me to the torture of reading such a beautifully done fic? Why must I put up with the adorbs of Blaine playing with Max and getting excited about being a godparent to him while Kurt's in London? How can you expect us to deal with the absolute sweetness of Kurt and Blaine in those five days? What gave you the right to have the amazing "I think we'll be okay and maybe that's why it doesn't hurt as much" bit that just about made me sob?

*snort* Very funny, I get your point. I just honestly thought this fic was done when I started posting but then when I went back and read through the end I decided I'd rushed over some stuff and when I started adding to it...there's a lot of things to talk about.

Anyhow, thank you so much, this really did make me smile. Four chapters and an epilogue to go! Not long now!!

:) I know what you mean. I swear, when I started The Lucky Ones I thought it would be about 15, maybe 20 chapters. I'm on 17 now and there's still so much to go! (which reminds me I should get back to writing)

MAAAAAX!! Perfect! Just PERFECT! Max & Blaine *Would* fall in love with each other within the first five seconds of meeting. One of my fav 'scenes' from here; Kurt making french toast, Blaine on the floor, back to the cupboard, being in love with Max. Just lovely.

I'm falling hard for Blaine's underwear. Tis true. I love the lavendar stripes, and hearts and "floral, disgustingly, hideously, perfectly floral" (genius description). So Breakfast delivery person got a glimpse at that thing of beauty? *glares at breakfast delivery person*

yay yay yay having guests means two chapters together!

Max was a-dor-able, so glad Blaine is going to get some playdates, although I hope he isn't the godparent who teaches Max about squirrels, buys him a doggy bowtie and then posts pictures of him everywhere online, stuffs him with gourmet doggy treats and then returns him to Alexis before the posh food makes him extra fragrant... (I fear he may be)

The hearts were cute, the floral made me squeal... and of course he answered the door in them!
