i don't know if this is a rhetorical question (or erotema as it is called rhetorically)<--ignore that, i realize i'm a stupid nerd. but i'm going to answer it anyway.
i would rather be the best among the worst because i've been the worst among the best for so long. i want to know how it feels to be the best at something.

i'd rather be the best among the worst because it's not bad at all, you accept yourself and know that you are trying maybe not becuase you are superior at it but because you might actually enjoy it (making you part of the worst) but if your the best of the worst then you still get that satisfaction of being a role model for people

it gives you something to work to...something to motivate you to get better and be better
it might be an ego boost to be the best amongst the worst, but in the long run it will do you no good and you will regret it
