Grateful

Today a teacher at my school came in to visit. He has been out all year. I really missed him this year. He is a funny, jovial, yet serious and caring man with whom I spent many lunch hours with, along with a few other teachers, sharing our war stories of our day in the classroom. He was very supportive of my initial idea of traveling to Palestine

I read this entry when you posted it but was in a hurry and didn't comment. The story you told struck me as one of those beautiful/sad moments in life, the kinds of experiences essential to a good life, and you described it so well.
