oh, I don't mean that it's a bad shot - and your position is pretty good though I'd work on your leg a little bit. Get it closer to the girth, and your position will be infinitely better just by that. I'd check your stirrup irons, actually - you have very long legs, which would seem the opposite, but they might be too short -- too long stirrups usually send your leg backward. But you're with the motion, and your crest release is lovely.

But wow, thank you. I do indeed need to work on my leg. I once went flying off, and took the stirrups right off the saddle because my legs were so far back. It was epic.

The photos are neat. :-) I used to be a fan of the Saddle Club books in junior high and always thought it would be cool to learn horseback riding. Living in the city though, I've only gone trail riding a few times on vacation and it's been years since the last time.

Oh man, the Saddle Club... I saw the movie in sixth grade, and I was crazy jealous of the rich girl who had the black horse, Cobalt. Good times.
