I know I used to have a strategy for staying awake through this sort of thing back in school; it may have involved Starbursts or hard candy or something.
I have found that something strong, like cinnamon hard candy or those eucalyptus-type cough drops, can help quite a bit.
I grabbed a handful of peppermints from the restaurant we ate at tonight, so I'll have those on hand if things get dull tomorrow afternoon. Thankfully today's afternoon presentation featured less Powerpoint and more hands-on stacking things on top of other things, which was actually a lot of fun.
