It's a good feeling, that real life makes me too busy for the internets.

I might as well be working on a PhD., as freaking busy as I've been at school. I'm actually starting to think about maybe pursuing one instead of just doing the 4+1 program for a MS. But, if I want to get into real graduate school, I'll have to take the GRE, and that just ( Read more... )

Something about the Bacchus parade makes it difficult to imbibe within reasonable limits.

getting closer to your own goals, doing specifically what you want to do, seems inversely proportional to that feeling of despair and pity that one feels for themselves and the ones around you, not to mention the sheer drop in the number of people that you can describe as friends. breaking out of the herd mentality of any scene or group, specifically a goth one, can make you very unpopular. by the way, who said i didn't have a phd? i think i have one now in carrying amanda up the stairsology.

NYE gave me a concrete reason to stop wasting my time, money, and neurons in a place that was only ever bad for me.

You know, I feel the same way. I can't remember the last time I had fun down there. Usually I just get really drunk out of sheer boredom, and even that doesn't help like it used to.

I've been killing my brain cells at Igor's a lot lately. With Melting Pot people. It is much more enjoyable. You are always welcome to join us if you would like. It's something different, anyway.
