Everyone post a song that really triggers an emotion or feeling in you, and explain why/how. I'll post mine after a few people post theirs, because I don't want anyone to be influenced by what I say. So everyone do it.

Edit: made it public because I can.

I don't know why, but Y control makes me very sad. I mean, it's a kind of up-beat sounding song, but I think the whole "I wish I could buy back the woman you stole" thing kind of weirds me out. God, her voice is SEX. ahem.

Well actually, the more I think about it... it IS a sad song. Hmm. All my lovin' goes under the fog.

Now I'm going to cry. Thanks a lot, Dan.
(...just kidding)

Yeah I could probably rant about my love of the YYYs for pages, but I won't.

Accidently In Love is a song that really triggers feelings in me, sung by the Counting Crows. For reasons why, I don't really want to say. If you'd like to know Dan then add my new lj that I write in now, which is, justifiedlife! Well I have to go now, bye byesss :D

Lots of songs provoke emotions but the other day I watched South Pacific and the song 'A Wonderful Guy' made me really deeply happy and when I was alone I started jumping around the house singing 'I'm in love I'm in love I'm in love I'm in love I'm in love with a wonderful guuuuy' and then just laughed until I was crying. It was a good time. Oh! And I Believe In A Thing Called Love never ever fails to make me smile.

well a few people have said their's so here's mine: Believe by Yellowcard. It's about 9/11 but it's not political or angry or anything. It's about the heroes who went into the rubble to save people. It's about the sacrifice that people made to save others, about selfless acts of courage. When I hear this song I just think about how I wish I could say I had that kind of courage. I feel like I need to personally thank the people who gave their lives to help others, even though I wasn't even NEAR New York city on 9/11. No one from Yellowcard was there either, but this song makes you feel like not only were they there, but it makes you (or at least made ME) feel like I was. It really makes you appreciate just...being alive, and being intensely grateful for it...I'll post the lyrics, but you really just have to hear the song to get everything out of it ( ... )
